Description:
This class is intended for readers and writers who are proficient at a second grade reading level on up. In this workshop, the children will read and practice with the other students, short skits prewritten from professionals. They will then participate in creative writing games, followed by planned time to work on their own original skits. This workshop is intended to spark our students’ imaginations by engaging in this curriculum. All the while being encouraged by teachers and peers who adhere strictly to Independent Playground Studios culture of being respectful, kind, and supportive to students who are brave enough to be vulnerable in opening up to share their work, make mistakes, and most importantly have FUN!
